Match Report Press Report

Weald VI Beat Lewes II.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 4 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. This turned out to be the case with a Home win.

On paper, the number 4 string should have been the closest, with only 37 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with David Beecroft winning through.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 114 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player and Player of the match, James Holloway.

Player of the match must be the Away number 3 string, Louis Agnew, who over-turned a 901 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
