Match Report Press Report

The West Worthing Club II Lost to Midhurst I in a close match.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. The stats turned out to be correct, with a fine Away win.

On paper, the number 2 string should have been the closest, with only 10 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Aaran Morriss winning through.

It was the number 4 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 121 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Joel Message.

Player of the tie was the Home No. 4 string, Joel Message, gaining 70 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 5 string, Will Stather, who over-turned a 292 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
