The William Heptinstall Award is made each year to enable a young person to widen his or her culinary experience whilst travelling outside the UK and is presently worth £3,500 to the recipient. The Award is primarily designed to allow the recipient fully to experience the cuisine of the area to be visited, while undertaking an overseas stage or stages that had already been contemplated.

Crowborough I Lost to Cooden II in a one-sided match.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 5 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. The stats turned out to be correct, with a fine Away win.

It was the number 5 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 124 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Paul Ralley. 		Crowborough 1 have withdrawn from the league so their previous results have been removed.
