Corals VII Lost to Weald II (formerly Weald III) in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 1 string should have been the closest, with only 2 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Tom Kingsley winning through.

It was the number 3 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 124 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Dave Cracroft.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 5 string, Barney East, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 5 string, Barney East, who over-turned a 1612 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
Home string 5 played as an unranked player and has been added retrospectively. He played in the bottom team of the club so there is no infringement.
